Project: Illustration for Products

This is class work

For this project, I created a collection of illustrations applied to three different products that could be sold at a coffee shop.

I wanted to illustrate something that focused on line work that was very organic, random yet elegant. During my initial research, I looked at a lot of nature, art nouveau and Japanese inspired art and items, and simple but fancy packaging and products.

I picked a local coffee shop near Pike Place called Storyville as the setting for my products. Storyville is a high end shop with a rich and warm atmosphere. They have a fireplace, filament bulbs, wood textures and leather furniture.

The final products are a notebook/planner, a tea cup and a tin canister with a melting sky theme. These items are part of a seasonal/gift collection.

*The dark orange-yellow color represents a metallic gold.
